Overview
Weather - This race will NOT be cancelled in any type of weather unless Typhoon 8 signal is hoisted at 5am on race morning, but please see weather update info in Rules & Regulations tab. A message will be put up on website (and facebook page) if cancelled latest 5am race morning. If postponed the race will be rescheduled. We will also have a backup date if typhoon 8 is hoisted. If Typhoon 3 is hoisted we will try to go ahead, but will check to make sure the course is safe.
Back up date - if postponed due to bad weather their will be a backup date. Oct 6 is confirmed as backup date.
Course - anti-clockwise this year with Lantau Peak first this year going up the Ngong Ping 360 stairs then over Sunset Peak and down Wong Lung Hang Valley for 24km (23.9km) course, similar as previous years.
15km course up 360 rescue trail to Nei Lek Shan, contouring Nei Lek Shan and down thru the monasteries of Tei Tong Tsai to Shek Mun Kap and returning to Tung Chung.

Courses
Ngong Ping only or “half” peak
A hill climb giving you a good workout thru Tung Chung and up the 360 rescue cement and wooden stair trail under the cable car towards Ngong Ping direction turning left on nice dirt single track trail around Nei Lek Shan (the highest elevation 588m) to the Ngong Ping water CP1 (447m), then down thru the Tei Tong Tsai monasteries thru Shek Mun Kap and following the walking track back to Citygate.

A very tough and DIFFICULT hill climbing course that you need to train for.
Tung Chung Citygate at sea-level, 360 Rescue trail, Nei Lek Shan contour trail (588m), Ngong Ping Water CP1 (447m), Lantau Peak - Fung Wong Shan (934m), Pak Kung Au Water CP2 (338m) , Sunset Peak -Tai Tung Shan (807m), Wong Lung Hang Country Trail stairs, Wong Lung Hang Road, Tung Chung Citygate.
